Amazon Prime Video unveiled the highly anticipated trailer for The Family Man Season 3 at a grand fan and media event in Mumbai on Friday. The trailer marks the return of Manoj Bajpayee as Srikant Tiwari, the intelligent and conflicted spy who now finds himself in an unprecedented situation—hunted not only by new enemies but also by his own intelligence unit, TASC.
Srikant Tiwari on the Run
The trailer opens with Srikant confessing to his family that he is a spy, only to reveal that he has been declared a wanted criminal with an arrest warrant issued against him. Forced to go on the run, Srikant navigates a treacherous landscape, relying on his loyal colleague JK (Sharib Hashmi) while trying to uncover the forces working against him.
The season introduces two formidable antagonists—Rukma, portrayed by Jaideep Ahlawat, a vengeful head of a terrorist organization, and Meera, played by Nimrat Kaur, a mastermind leading a shadowy organization. Together, they pose Srikant’s most dangerous challenge yet, as he must fight to protect both his family and the nation.
Creators on Raising the Stakes
Creators Raj & DK said, “Season 3 of The Family Man turns Srikant’s covert professional and fragile personal life upside down. He is forced to go on the run with his family while facing an even more alarming threat in Rukma and Meera. Both Jaideep and Nimrat are the perfect choice, as actors and personalities to embody these dynamic and menacing foes, testing not only Srikant’s grit and resolve but also his commitment to his family and his nation. Taking the story several notches higher, the new season will grip audiences with its edge-of-the-seat tension and nail-biting moments as they witness their favourite spy navigating uncharted territories and peril.”
The creators also acknowledged the long wait for the season, adding that the three-year production period allowed them to craft a story with heightened stakes, intense action sequences, and an elevated narrative experience for fans.
Ensemble Cast and Release Date
Returning this season are fan favourites Sharib Hashmi (JK Talpade), Priyamani (Suchitra Tiwari), Ashlesha Thakur (Dhriti Tiwari), Vedant Sinha (Atharv Tiwari), Shreya Dhanwanthary (Zoya), and Gul Panag (Saloni). The series is written by Raj & DK alongside Suman Kumar, with dialogues by Sumit Arora. Season 3 is directed by Raj & DK, with Suman Kumar and Tusshar Seyth joining as co-directors.
