Overview of the BPSC Prelims Exam 2025

The 71st Combined Preliminary Competitive Examination (BPSC Prelims Exam 2025) is set to take place today, September 13, across Bihar. This significant examination will see participation from approximately 470,000 candidates vying for 1,250 available positions. With around 376 applicants competing for each post, the level of competition is expected to be intense.

Exam Schedule and Entry Regulations

The examination will occur in a single session from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Candidates can enter the examination venues starting at 9:30 AM, but entry will be prohibited after 11:00 AM. It is crucial for candidates to arrive on time, as they will not be permitted to leave the examination hall during the exam duration.

Security Measures and Administrative Oversight

To ensure a fair and transparent examination process, the Bihar Public Service Commission, along with state authorities, has implemented stringent security protocols. A total of 912 examination centers have been established across 37 districts in Bihar, with rigorous monitoring in place. Senior officials, including the District Magistrate (DM), Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), and Additional District Magistrate (ADM), will be present at these centers.

To prevent any irregularities, 95 static magistrates and 37 zonal magistrates have been assigned to oversee the examination. Additionally, police and armed forces personnel will conduct ongoing checks at all centers to deter unauthorized activities.
