Police in Rajasthan's Sikar district have achieved a major success. They have arrested a Con bride-robber who, through three marriages, extorted lakhs of rupees from victim families. Police are now searching for other members of the bride-robbery racket to bust the entire racket.
Sikar : In the past few years, the cases of Con bride robbery are increasing rapidly. Shocking cases related to this are coming to light across the country. Incidents of bride robbery keep coming to light from different districts of Rajasthan too, in which the bride disappears with jewellery and cash just a few days after the marriage. The latest case has come to light from Sikar district of Shekhawati region of Rajasthan. Here Danta Ramgarh police has finally arrested the notorious bride robber Kajal, who used to cheat in the name of marriage. The accused Kajal is originally from Uttar Pradesh and was absconding for the past one year.
The truth came out during police interrogationAccording to the information, the complainant had filed a report alleging that Kajal had absconded with jewelry and cash worth lakhs under the pretext of marriage. Police have already arrested Bhagat Singh, Saroj Devi, Tamanna, and Suraj Singh in this case. During interrogation, Kajal revealed that she had been married three times and had looted money and jewelry.
Police are searching for other membersOn the instructions of Superintendent of Police Praveen Nayak Nunawat, a team formed under the leadership of Danta Ramgarh Police Station Officer Jai Singh Basera carried out this operation. Police are now questioning Kajal about other gang members and their network. They are also trying to determine how many people this gang has defrauded so far, and how many women are involved in this group, so that this racket can be completely busted.
