Amazon selling £56 carpet cleaner that 'pulls dirt users didn't even realise existed'

Many shoppers are turning to Amazon to find savings on their stain-removing supplies. The Rivenara Carpet Spot Upholstery Cleaner could be a great option - and it's nearly 40% at the moment.

Currently priced at £56.99, saving shoppers 36% from its original price of £89, the RivenaraCarpet Spot Upholstery Cleaner has been bought over 1,000 times in the past month, Amazon says. It combines spray, brush and suction functions that the brand claims will 'easily remove stains and dirt' and 'simplify' cleaning tasks.

With a 1.2-metre hose, 5-metre power cord, and weighing 3.84kg, it's ideal for hard-to-reach spots and is easy to use. The brand claims it is 'versatile' and great for carpets, sofas, stairs, and car interiors.

Alternatively, shoppers could consider the Geepas Spot Cleaner and Stain Remover Carpet from Debenhams. It's currently priced at £59.99, a 33% saving from its original price of £89.99, and it features two types of cleaning heads - a brush head for general use and an angled head for precision cleaning.

Shoppers could also look at the Bissell Spotclean Stainlift from Dunelm, priced at £100. This 'portable' product comes with a specialised tough stain tool to address everyday spills and set-in stains.

Shoppers at Amazon were impressed with the Rivenara Carpet Spot Upholstery Cleaner. One review said: "I honestly wasn't expecting much at this price point, but wow - the Rivenara Carpet Spot Upholstery Cleaner completely blew me away. The suction power is incredible, it pulls up dirt and spills I didn't even realise were there, leaving my carpets and upholstery looking fresh."

Another said it was "small but mighty", adding: "So easy to put together. Did a great job on the stairs in minutes. We are a filthy bunch in our house, judging by the wastewater. It packs a heck of a punch for the money ... No need to spend any more money than this!"

A third added: "Worth mentioning, too, is the build quality - I am very impressed with the design and build. It looks good. All said, we are very pleased with this cleaner. It is an excellent purchase. Five stars."

Not all shoppers felt the same, however. One shopper remarked: "The dirt it collects is impressive and gross at the same time." Another added: "Cleans very well, shame there isn't an additional tool to enable you to stand while using."
