F1 LIVE: Norris and Hamilton set for Mexican GP duel as driver storms out of interview

The grid has been set for the Mexican Grand Prix, and what a race we have in store. Lando Norris will start from pole position after a barnstorming lap on Saturday evening, while Lewis Hamilton is tucked in behind him in third place - a prime starting slot in Mexico City, due to the long run down to Turn One, and the intense slipstream that comes with it.

Norris' title rivals didn't fare so well. Max Verstappen's promising pace from practice did not translate to qualifying, and he was only able to put his RB21 machine fifth on the grid. Oscar Piastri's struggles continued, with the World Championship leader languishing in eighth place during the final part of Q3. He climbs to seventh on the grid thanks to Carlos Sainz's penalty.

Then there is Charles Leclerc, who is looking to break Ferrari's winless drought, which spans back to this same event last season, where Sainz won for the final time with the Scuderia. The Monegasque racer starts alongside Norris on the front row of the grid.
