One man who has appeared on more than 50 quiz shows has confessed the one he can never watch - and it's an ITV classic. Edward Oldfield - believed to be the UK's most prolific game show contestant - started out his career in telly in 2001, when he appeared on The Weakest Link. After that, he appeared on Come Dine With Me - and when his hilarious personality captured the attention of TV bosses, he was invited to go on more programmes.
Edward has since gone on to appear on Britain's Got Talent, The 1% Club, Dickinson's Real Deal, Tipping Point and Lightning. In total he's been on 25 different shows, but made nearly 60 separate TV appearances. His latest listed credit was on 99 to Beat earlier this year.
Edward once joked the one show he never gets to watch at home is The Chase, quipping during his BGT act: "I like The Chase, however my wife always switches over to Pointless."
He was quickly buzzed off the talent show - and he has also never won much cash during game show appearances. On Steph's Packed Lunch last year, Edward said: "I don't know why I've never won. I think it's just bad luck.
"There's been times where I've been so close and I've been able to smell the money, but never won it. I've been doing this for 10 years, sometimes I wonder if I give up but then I think it might be just around the corner."
The 45-year-old explained: "I got an email asking if I was interested in going on Tipping Point and I thought why not because you can win money on it and meet a few new people."
But he advised others to "play the lottery" instead as his chances haven't paid off.
He added: "I think Bargain Hunt would be great fun - it would be such a laugh. I'm not really good at winning money but Bargain Hunt is all about losing money.
"I don't think anyone ever makes any money on there, it's about who has lost the least money. I think this is the sort of show that I should be going on."
