India vs Pakistan in Asia Cup to be played at new time - updated schedule

NEW DELHI: All 19 matches of the Asia Cup 2025 were initially scheduled to begin at 7:30 PM IST (6 PM local time). However, 18 games will now start 30 minutes later, at 8 PM IST (6:30 PM local time). The only exception is the UAE vs Oman fixture on September 15 at the Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi, which has been slotted as a day game, beginning at 5:30 PM IST (4 PM local time).

The tournament will get underway on September 9 with Afghanistan taking on Hong Kong in Abu Dhabi.

India, the defending champions, have been drawn in Group A alongside Oman, hosts UAE, and arch-rivals Pakistan. Group B features Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Hong Kong, and Sri Lanka.

India lifted the trophy in the previous edition after thrashing Sri Lanka by 10 wickets to secure their record-extending eighth Asia Cup title.
